CapMetro App Reviews

Life saver (as long as my battery is full)

I buy my passes on the app, and its so easy to buy AND use. Ive had a panic moment or two when my phone is almost dead, but thats on me. And I love the trip planner. Ive even helped bewildered people at bus stops by using this app by using the trip planner for them. My only tiny gripe is I cant use it while on a call, which doesnt happen often, and I can just hang up use it quickly, then call back. Overall, Ive NEVER had an issue.

Whos responsible for this?

Your app, your website, your fare machines... none of them work properly. How do you expect people to ride your rail system when they can rarely purchase tickets? Btw, your entire website is down as I write this.

It allows me to purchase online

It works and I dont have to show up to some vendor to get it to work! I am pretty happy with it

As Useless As The Organization It Represents

Beware, everyone. For those of you who dont get pd. weekly, and have to buy two weekly passes at a time to get by, this piece of garbage will pull up your UNACTIVATED pass instead of the active one, and Capital Metro will NOT make it right. I get to spend NINETY dollars for two weeks worth of passes because of their incompetence.

Cannot purchase tickets on app

Ive tried with a visa debit and visa credit, both with funds. Error messages are legacy pop ups with "do not honor".

Accurate bus times and routes

Bus bus bus. Lets me see the city without a car thankyou.

Thanks for the improvements.

Keep up the updates coming

Very nice!

I especially like the real-time next arrival deal. Thanks!

Love/Hate

I absolutely love the formatting but there are quite a few bugs! The app keeps crashing on me and my tickets are always invalid. Its really agitating. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling the app but to no avail. Please fix this because I use it daily!

Great to help you getting around ATX

Im new to Austin, Texas and had no idea about buses and rail lines. This app is excellent as it gives you all the info you need with detailed schedules and maps. Best thing: you can buy your ticket right from the app and get it scanned upon boarding the rail or simply show it to the bus driver. No need to print. Very useful! The system normally runs on time (except for the craziest SXSW days). Im using it during SXSW and Im pretty happy leaving the car at home.

Seems great for me.

Google maps also works well. This has route maps etc.

Plz add a "favorite stop" option

This app is generally useful. But for those of us who only care about the departure times for a few stops, a "favorite stop" function would be useful. Also, plz add a "refresh" button to the rapid buses because sometimes the arrival times dont refresh by itself.

I love it!

It is very accurate for the most part and really makes using the metro system very user friendly. I only wish I could buy a single use ticket instead of having to buy a day pass as the smallest unit.

Great app! Great service!

Ive never taken public transporting and admittedly I was intimidated by trying to figure out how to get to and fro. This app is my security blanket! I can travel confidently and feel secure about schedules and stops. Thanks!

CapMetro is Great

If you plan your trips ahead of time, this is an awesome app.

Great app

Great app, Im from out of town, and its been a god send to have. Easy to find routes and pickup times, plan ahead, and move about the city.

Awesome app for travelers

Came from Milwaukee to visit, and I wish our bus app was this good. Super to easy use!

Makes life easier

Very convenient to just purchase a day pass on this app and show the driver rather than fumbling around with change and folded dollar bills.

Next departure needs work

I love the next departure feature that Capmetro has developed, but the maps on this app do not line up with the icons. Please fix and this app will be awesome!

Needs Work

I purchase premium day passes and almost every time I scan, I get "invalid ticket" errors, even though the ticket still has time left. This leads to a pain in having to go to each driver and show them before getting on.
